Artist
Whirr is an American shoegaze band formed in California in 2010. Dense layers of distorted guitar, subdued vocals and dream-pop melodies shape releases including the Distressor EP and the albums Pipe Dreams, Sway and Feels Like You. In 2014, Whirr toured North America with Nothing after the two bands released a split EP. A subsequent 2015 US run placed the band in clubs alongside Adventures and Wildhoney.
