William Tyler in Newcastle upon Tyne

William Tyler is an American guitarist and composer from Nashville, Tennessee, known for instrumental folk music rooted in the American primitive guitar tradition. A former member of Lambchop and Silver Jews, he established his solo catalog through albums including Behold the Spirit, Impossible Truth, Modern Country and Goes West. Before releasing music under his own name, William Tyler toured as a guitarist with Lambchop and Silver Jews. His later concerts have included solo performances on acoustic and electric guitar as well as duo appearances with harpist Mary Lattimore, his collaborator on Lost Futures.
