Xoel López in Santiago de Compostela

Xoel López is a Spanish singer-songwriter, guitarist and producer born in A Coruña in 1977. He fronted the indie-pop group Deluxe before recording under his own name, drawing on pop, folk and Latin American songwriting across albums including Atlántico, Paramales and Sueños y pan. His best-known songs include “Tierra,” “Lodo” and the Deluxe-era “Que no.” The Atlántico tour took his solo work through Spain and Latin America. He subsequently toured behind Paramales and Sueños y pan, performing in Spanish theatres and at festivals including Sonorama Ribera and PortAmérica.
