Xuxa in Rio de Janeiro

Xuxa is a Brazilian singer, television presenter and actress born in 1963. She hosted the children’s television program Xou da Xuxa and built a pop catalogue led by songs such as “Ilariê” and “Lua de Cristal.” Her recordings also include the album Xou da Xuxa and the long-running Xuxa Só Para Baixinhos children’s series. In 2009, Xuxa began the Christmas concert series Natal Mágico, which returned in subsequent years as a family production built around songs, dancers and seasonal characters. In 2016, she launched the nostalgia-focused XuChá show in São Paulo and later took it to Rio de Janeiro.
