Yelawolf is an American rapper born in Gadsden, Alabama, in 1979. His music combines Southern rap with country and rock elements. The 2010 mixtape Trunk Muzik established his signature sound and led to Trunk Muzik 0-60; later releases include Radioactive, Love Story and Trial by Fire. His best-known tracks include “Pop the Trunk,” “Till It’s Gone” and “Best Friend,” featuring Eminem. Yelawolf performed on the Vans Warped Tour in 2011, the year Radioactive was released. He later led the Slumerican Made Tour and the Trial by Fire Tour, taking material from Love Story and Trial by Fire into clubs and theatres. The Ghetto Cowboy Tour followed the release of the album of the same name.
Highly Suspect are an American alternative rock band formed on Cape Cod, Massachusetts, by frontman Johnny Stevens and twin brothers Rich and Ryan Meyer. Their blues-edged hard rock reached a wider audience through the albums Mister Asylum and The Boy Who Died Wolf, which produced songs including “Lydia,” “My Name Is Human” and “Little One.” Later records include MCID, Midnight Demon Club and As Above, So Below. In 2016, Highly Suspect played Lollapalooza during the touring cycle for their debut album. The Boy Who Died Wolf Tour followed their second record, while subsequent headline runs brought their guitar-led live set to clubs and theatres around MCID and Midnight Demon Club.
