Young Knives in Newcastle upon Tyne

Young Knives are a British rock band formed in Ashby-de-la-Zouch and later based in Oxford. Their sharp-edged indie rock and art punk became known through the album Voices of Animals and Men and songs including “She’s Attracted To,” “Weekends and Bleak Days (Hot Summer)” and “Terra Firma.” Young Knives took Voices of Animals and Men around the UK club circuit during the mid-2000s. That period also brought festival appearances at Glastonbury Festival and the Reading and Leeds Festivals.
