Youth Of Today in Buenos Aires

Youth Of Today is an American hardcore punk band formed in Danbury, Connecticut, in 1985 by vocalist Ray Cappo and guitarist John Porcelly. Closely associated with the straight-edge and youth crew movements, the group is known for fast, direct songs including “Youth Crew,” “Break Down the Walls” and “Positive Outlook,” as well as the albums Break Down the Walls and We’re Not in This Alone. The band played the Sunday hardcore matinees at CBGB during its early years, and one performance at the New York club was released as Take a Stand: Live at CBGB. After breaking up and later reuniting, Youth Of Today returned to clubs and festivals in the United States and Europe, including This Is Hardcore in Philadelphia and Groezrock in Belgium.
