Yuzu in Yokohama

Yuzu are a Japanese folk-pop and pop-rock duo formed in Yokohama in 1996 by Yujin Kitagawa and Koji Iwasawa. First heard as street performers, they became known through songs including “Natsuiro,” “Eikō no Kakehashi” and “Hyōri Ittai.” In 1998, Yuzu ended their weekly street performances outside the Matsuzakaya department store in Isezakicho with a final concert there. The duo later staged GO HOME at Nissan Stadium in 2005, while the 20th-anniversary Yuzu Iroha dome tour reached Tokyo Dome and Kyocera Dome Osaka in 2017.
