Zao Tickets & 2026–2027 Tour Dates

Zao is an American metalcore band formed in Parkersburg, West Virginia, in 1993. Its music is built on dissonant guitars, abrupt rhythmic shifts and harsh vocals, particularly those of longtime singer Dan Weyandt. The band is known for albums including Where Blood and Fire Bring Rest, Liberate Te Ex Inferis and The Funeral of God, as well as songs such as “A Fall Farewell” and “Five Year Winter.”

Zao appeared at Cornerstone Festival, an important gathering for the Christian punk and hardcore scene in Illinois. Years after those performances, the band played Furnace Fest at Sloss Furnaces in Birmingham, an event closely connected to American hardcore and metalcore.
