Real McCoy in Ottawa

Real McCoy is a German Eurodance project formed in Berlin in 1989 by producers Juergen Wind and Frank Hassas, with rapper Olaf Jeglitza, known as O-Jay, as its frontman. Its best-known recordings include “Another Night,” “Run Away,” “Automatic Lover” and a cover of “Come and Get Your Love.” Real McCoy performed at the 1995 World Music Awards in Monte Carlo during the success of “Another Night” and “Run Away.” In later decades, O-Jay has performed the group’s catalog under the Real McCoy name at 1990s revival concerts, including Germany’s Die 90er Live events.
