Vengaboys in Ottawa

Vengaboys are a Dutch Eurodance group formed in Rotterdam in 1997. Their bright dance-pop sound became closely associated with late-1990s hits including “We Like to Party! (The Vengabus),” “Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom!!” and “We’re Going to Ibiza!”, collected on releases such as The Party Album and The Platinum Album. Vengaboys resumed performing in 2007 and built a second phase of live work around club dates, festivals and 1990s revival events. In 2017 they joined Steps as special guests on the UK arena run of the Party on the Dancefloor Tour, and their later festival appearances included Glastonbury Festival in 2024.

Prozzak is a Canadian pop duo formed in 1998 by Jay Levine and James Bryan McCollum, musicians from The Philosopher Kings. Presented through the animated characters Simon and Milo, the act is known for electronic dance-pop songs including “Sucks to Be You,” “Strange Disease” and “www.nevergetoveryou,” as well as the albums Hot Show and Saturday People. In 2015, Levine and McCollum revived Prozzak for a performance at Atomic Lollipop in Toronto. Canadian reunion dates followed, and Prozzak later joined Aqua and Whigfield on the Forever 1999 tour in 2019.
