Adam Ben Ezra is an Israeli multi-instrumentalist and composer from Tel Aviv whose instrumental jazz centers on the double bass. He is known for treating the instrument as a source of melody, rhythm and percussion, heard on albums including Pin Drop, Can’t Stop Running and Hide and Seek. Following Pin Drop, Adam Ben Ezra toured internationally with a solo program built around double bass, live looping, piano, oud and percussion. His festival appearances have included Jazz à Vienne and the Montreux Jazz Festival.
