Anne-Sophie Mutter Tickets & 2026–2027 Tour Dates

Anne-Sophie Mutter is a German classical violinist, born in Rheinfelden in 1963. She is known for her interpretations and recordings of concertos by Mozart, Beethoven, Brahms and Tchaikovsky, as well as for commissioning contemporary violin music. Her discography includes Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons and the complete Beethoven violin sonatas recorded with pianist Lambert Orkis.

In 1977, she made her Salzburg Festival debut with the Berlin Philharmonic under Herbert von Karajan. She founded Mutter’s Virtuosi in 2011 and began touring with the ensemble, whose members are current and former scholarship recipients of her foundation. In 2021, she gave the world premiere of John Williams’s Violin Concerto No. 2 at Tanglewood, accompanied by the Boston Symphony Orchestra under the composer’s direction.
