About Asato Shizuki
Asato Shizuki is a Japanese singer and musical-theatre actress who became the first top star of the Takarazuka Revue’s Cosmos Troupe. A former otokoyaku performer, she is particularly known for playing Tod in the troupe’s production of Elisabeth.
In 1998, she led the newly created Cosmos Troupe in its inaugural program, Excalibur and Citrus no Kaze, at the Takarazuka Grand Theater. After leaving the revue in 2000, she pursued solo concerts and musical-theatre roles beyond Takarazuka.
