About At the Drive-In
At the Drive-In are an American post-hardcore band formed in El Paso, Texas, in 1994. They became known for tense, angular rock and the 2000 album Relationship of Command, which includes “One Armed Scissor” and “Invalid Litter Dept.” Their catalogue also includes In/Casino/Out and the reunion album in•ter a•li•a.
Their 2001 appearance at Sydney’s Big Day Out ended after three songs, after the band repeatedly asked the crowd to stop moshing. The group began a long hiatus soon afterward, then reunited for a 2012 run that included Coachella. They returned to touring in 2016 and later played shows behind in•ter a•li•a, including a 2017 set at Reading Festival.
