About Attacca Quartet
Attacca Quartet is an American string quartet formed at the Juilliard School in 2003. The ensemble performs classical repertoire and contemporary music; its recording of Caroline Shaw’s Orange won the Grammy Award for Best Chamber Music/Small Ensemble Performance, while Real Life brought the quartet together with electronic artists including TOKiMONSTA and Squarepusher.
Attacca Quartet made its professional debut in 2007 at Weill Recital Hall in New York. The ensemble later presented a 2023 concert for NPR’s Tiny Desk.
