Axel Flóvent is an Icelandic singer-songwriter raised in Húsavík who writes acoustic indie folk. He became known through the song and EP “Forest Fires,” followed by releases including the albums “You Stay by the Sea” and “Away from This Dream.” Following “Forest Fires,” Axel Flóvent toured Europe as support for Ásgeir and The Paper Kites. His festival appearances have included Iceland Airwaves in Reykjavík and Eurosonic Noorderslag in Groningen.
