About Big Black Delta
Big Black Delta is an American electronic-rock project formed in Los Angeles by Jonathan Bates after his band Mellowdrone ended. The project’s self-titled album established its dense mix of synthesizers, distorted guitars and noise, and includes the songs “Huggin & Kissin” and “Side of the Road.”
Big Black Delta supported M83 on a North American tour and also toured with Jane’s Addiction. Festival appearances extended that live history to major outdoor stages, including Lollapalooza in Chicago.
