About Big Brave
Big Brave is a Canadian trio formed in Montreal in 2012. The band plays drone-heavy experimental rock and metal, built around sustained guitars, forceful percussion and Robin Wattie’s stark vocals. Its best-known records include Ardor, A Gaze Among Them, Vital and nature morte; Big Brave also recorded Leaving None But Small Birds with The Body.
Big Brave have toured with Godspeed You! Black Emperor, while later live runs included dates supporting Sunn O))). The trio has also presented its long-form, drone-based work at Roadburn in Tilburg.
