Black Milk is an American rapper and producer from Detroit, born Curtis Cross in 1983. His solo catalog includes Popular Demand, Tronic, Album of the Year and Fever, while his production credits include work with Slum Village. He also formed Random Axe with Sean Price and Guilty Simpson. Black Milk toured with the band Nat Turner during the 2010s, presenting his catalog as a full-band performance built around live drums, keyboards and bass. He brought that format to NPR Music’s Tiny Desk Concert, while Live at Third Man Records documented the group at Third Man Records in Nashville.
