About Black Moth Super Rainbow
Black Moth Super Rainbow is an American psychedelic electronic band formed in Pittsburgh in 2003 and led by Tobacco. The group is known for warped analog synthesizers, vocoder-treated vocals and lo-fi textures on albums including Dandelion Gum, Eating Us and Cobra Juicy, as well as songs such as “Sun Lips” and “Forever Heavy.”
Black Moth Super Rainbow toured with The Flaming Lips during the period surrounding Dandelion Gum. Performances at Coachella in Indio and Sasquatch! Music Festival at the Gorge Amphitheatre followed.
