About BMX Bandits
BMX Bandits are a Scottish indie-pop band formed in Bellshill in 1986 around singer and songwriter Duglas T Stewart. Their melodic, guitar-led catalogue includes the song “Serious Drugs” and albums such as Cuddle and Life Goes On.
In 1994, BMX Bandits performed at Creation Undrugged at London’s Royal Albert Hall, where “Serious Drugs” was presented with orchestral accompaniment. Later tours took the band to Japan for full-band concerts in Tokyo.
