About Bob Fox
Bob Fox is an English folk singer and guitarist from Seaham, County Durham. His repertoire draws on traditional song and the industrial heritage of North East England; his recordings include Nowt So Good’ll Pass with Stu Luckley and the solo album Dreams Never Leave You. He is also known for portraying Songman in the National Theatre production of War Horse.
Bob Fox toured Britain’s folk clubs both solo and in a duo with Stu Luckley before appearing in War Horse at the New London Theatre and in touring productions. His theatre work also includes touring with Jez Lowe, Billy Mitchell and Benny Graham in The Pitmen Poets, a show built around the songs, stories and poetry of the North East coalfields.
