About Belshazzar's Feast
Belshazzar’s Feast was an English folk duo formed in 1995 by accordionist Paul Hutchinson and violinist, oboist and singer Paul Sartin. They arranged traditional songs and dance tunes for their unusual instrumental pairing, adding original material and dry comedy; their recordings include Frost Bites and Stocking Fillers.
Each December, the duo took a seasonal show around British folk clubs, village halls and arts centres. Their concerts combined instrumental sets and songs with comic introductions and exchanges between the two musicians. They also performed at Sidmouth FolkWeek and Towersey Festival.
