About Brendan Benson
Brendan Benson is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist born in 1970 in Royal Oak, Michigan. His melodic power pop first appeared on the album One Mississippi, while Lapalco brought songs including “Good to Me” and “Metarie.” He is also a co-founder and co-lead vocalist of The Raconteurs, alongside Jack White.
In 2005, Benson toured behind The Alternative to Love and performed at Glastonbury Festival. He subsequently toured as a guitarist and vocalist with The Raconteurs; the band’s 2008 performance at Montreux Jazz Festival was filmed and released as Live at Montreux 2008.
