About Spoon
Spoon is an American indie-rock band formed in Austin, Texas, in 1993 by singer-guitarist Britt Daniel and drummer Jim Eno. The band is known for albums including Kill the Moonlight, Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga and They Want My Soul, as well as songs such as “The Way We Get By,” “I Turn My Camera On” and “The Underdog.”
Spoon launched the Lucifer on the Sofa Tour in 2022 for a run of North American headline shows. Later that year, Spoon and Interpol co-headlined the Lights, Camera, Factions Tour, opened by Metric; the following year, Spoon joined selected dates of Weezer’s Indie Rock Roadtrip.
Spoon’s club shows have included the 9:30 Club in Washington and First Avenue in Minneapolis.
