About Choirboys
Choirboys are an Australian hard-rock band formed in Sydney in 1979 and led by singer Mark Gable. They are best known for “Run to Paradise,” while “Boys Will Be Boys” and the album Big Bad Noise are also central to their catalogue.
Choirboys built their early audience on the pub-rock circuit and through support dates for The Angels. In later years, Run to Paradise: The Stories of Australian Rock n Roll combined songs from the band’s catalogue and first-hand stories told by Mark Gable.
