Chuck Prophet in London

Chuck Prophet is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist, born in Whittier, California, in 1963, who plays roots rock and alternative country. He first became known through Green on Red before beginning his solo catalog with Brother Aldo. His best-known records include No Other Love, Temple Beautiful and Bobby Fuller Died for Your Sins, while “Summertime Thing” and “You Did (Bomp Shooby Dooby Bomp)” are among his signature songs. Chuck Prophet has toured for decades with the Mission Express, taking his electric-band shows through clubs and theatres in North America and Europe. He has also performed at Hardly Strictly Bluegrass and played repeated headline dates at the Great American Music Hall.
