About Crowded House
Crowded House is an Australian-New Zealand rock band formed in Melbourne in 1985 by Neil Finn, Paul Hester and Nick Seymour. The group plays melodic pop rock and is known for songs including “Don't Dream It's Over,” “Something So Strong,” “Better Be Home Soon” and “Weather with You,” as well as the albums Crowded House and Woodface.
In 1996, Crowded House staged the Farewell to the World concert on the steps of the Sydney Opera House. After re-forming, the band performed at Coachella in 2007 and toured behind Time on Earth. The later Dreamers Are Waiting tour returned the group to theatres, arenas and festivals, including a 2022 performance on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury.
