David Devant and His Spirit Wife in Kings Cross

David Devant and His Spirit Wife are a British indie-rock band formed in Brighton in 1992. They play theatrical indie rock and glam pop, and are known for the debut album Work, Lovelife and songs including “Ginger,” “Pimlico” and “Cookie.” The band played London clubs in its early years and later took the Work, Lovelife material around Britain. Its concerts feature singer Mikey Georgeson as The Vessel, accompanied by the white-clad Spectral Roadies, who operate props and stage illusions as part of the performance. The group also presented this format at Glastonbury Festival.
