About Dub FX
Dub FX is the stage name of Benjamin Stanford, an Australian beatboxer, singer and electronic musician from Melbourne. He became known through street-performance videos in which he builds tracks from his voice, beatboxing, loop pedals and effects. His best-known work includes “Love Someone” and “Flow,” as well as the albums Everythinks a Ripple and Theory of Harmony.
Dub FX developed his live act while busking across Europe, constructing bass lines, rhythms and vocal parts in real time. He later brought the same solo looping setup to major events including Glastonbury Festival and Sziget Festival.
