About Ducu Bertzi

Ducu Bertzi is a Romanian folk singer-songwriter and guitarist, born in Sighetu Marmației in 1955. He is known for songs including “Floare de colț” and “M-am îndrăgostit numai de ea,” built around his voice and acoustic guitar.

In 1976, he won the Grand Prize at the Primăvara Baladelor folk festival. Three years later, he joined the touring literary and musical circle Cenaclul Flacăra, where his songs became part of its concert repertoire.
