About Proconsul
Proconsul is a Romanian pop-rock band formed in Bucharest in 1999. Led by vocalist Bogdan “Bodo” Marin, the group is known for songs including “Cerul,” “Mi-ai luat inima” and “Pentru tine,” and for a melodic sound rooted in pop rock and soft rock.
At the Golden Stag Festival in Brașov in 2001, Proconsul won the international competition. The band later marked its 20th anniversary with a 2019 concert at Sala Palatului in Bucharest.
