About Electric Guest

Electric Guest is an American indie-pop band formed in Los Angeles around singer Asa Taccone and drummer Matthew Compton. Danger Mouse produced the band’s 2012 debut album, Mondo, which included “This Head I Hold” and “American Daydream”; later releases include Plural and Kin.

In 2012, Electric Guest performed at SXSW while touring behind Mondo. The band followed that appearance by playing Coachella in 2013.

Electric Guest performs with a full-band lineup built around Asa Taccone on vocals and Matthew Compton on drums.
