Artists
Elephant Revival is an American folk and roots band formed in Nederland, Colorado, in 2006. The group draws on bluegrass, Celtic music and indie folk, using instruments including fiddle, banjo, cello and washboard. Its best-known recordings include the albums These Changing Skies and Petals, as well as the song “Sing to the Mountain.” A 2018 concert at Red Rocks Amphitheatre marked the beginning of the band’s hiatus after years of touring theatres and festivals. Elephant Revival returned to the stage in 2023 for reunion concerts at Planet Bluegrass in Lyons, reconnecting the group with its Colorado live audience. The band has also performed at the Telluride Bluegrass Festival and Northwest String Summit, two recurring events closely associated with American roots music.
Desert Dwellers are an American electronic duo formed in 1999 by Amani Friend and Treavor Moontribe. Their downtempo and psybient music draws on dub, psychedelic electronics and global instrumentation; key releases include the DownTemple Dub series, The Great Mystery and Breath. In 2019, the duo toured North America behind Breath, extending a live history that includes performances at Burning Man, Lightning in a Bottle and Shambhala Music Festival. Their sets present the project’s studio material in a continuous electronic mix shaped for dance floors and outdoor gatherings. Most of their performances have taken place in the United States, while Envision Festival has also brought Desert Dwellers to Costa Rica.
