Eli "Paperboy" Reed in Fall River

Eli "Paperboy" Reed is an American singer, songwriter and guitarist from Brookline, Massachusetts, who performs soul and rhythm and blues rooted in the sounds of the 1960s. He is known for the albums Roll With You and Come and Get It!, as well as later records including Nights Like This and My Way Home. In Clarksdale, Mississippi, he gained early stage experience sitting in with local blues musicians and serving as music director at a church. He later formed a horn-backed band in Boston, and a 2007 appearance at SXSW brought the group to wider attention. Club and festival touring in Britain and Europe followed, including a performance at Glastonbury Festival.
