Emily Loizeau is a French singer-songwriter and pianist, born in Neuilly-sur-Seine in 1975. Her music draws on chanson, folk and rock, and she became known through her debut album L’Autre Bout du monde and its title song. Her catalogue also includes Pays sauvage, Mothers & Tygers and Mona. After releasing L’Autre Bout du monde, Emily Loizeau toured the songs in piano-led concerts and performed at Printemps de Bourges. The live work around Pays sauvage brought her to the Olympia in Paris; her later stage projects have included Run Run Run, a concert homage to Lou Reed.
