Thomas Fersen in Caluire-et-Cuire

Thomas Fersen is a French singer-songwriter, born in Paris in 1963, who writes chanson shaped by wordplay, fables and surreal characters. His 1993 debut album, Le Bal des oiseaux, established that approach, while songs including “La Chauve-souris” and “Monsieur” became lasting parts of his repertoire. La Cigale des grands jours documented his 2004 concerts at La Cigale. He later centred the Trois petits tours period on the ukulele, then combined songs and spoken verse in a theatrical solo performance that toured under the title Un coup de queue de vache.
