Carlos Cuevas & Ricardo Caballero in Querétaro City

Carlos Cuevas is a Mexican singer born in Mexico City in 1963, known for boleros and other forms of romantic popular song. He won the 1990 OTI Festival performing “Un bolero,” written by Roberto Cantoral, and has built much of his recorded repertoire around classic Latin American song. The concert project Noche de bohemia paired Carlos Cuevas with singer and television host Jorge Muñiz for performances centered on bolero repertoire. They presented the show repeatedly at the Lunario del Auditorio Nacional, and a concert recording documents Carlos Cuevas’s stage partnership with Jorge Muñiz.
