About Falamansa
Falamansa is a Brazilian forró band formed in São Paulo in 1998. The group helped bring forró universitário and xote to a broad pop audience through the album Deixa Entrar and songs including “Rindo à Toa,” “Xote dos Milagres” and “Xote da Alegria.”
In 2001, Falamansa performed at Rock in Rio as its early records were establishing the band beyond the university forró circuit. The group later documented its accordion-led stage repertoire on the 2005 concert release MTV ao Vivo Falamansa.
