Gentleman in Wiesbaden

Gentleman is the stage name of Tilmann Otto, a German reggae singer born in Osnabrück in 1974 and raised in Cologne. He performs roots reggae and dancehall, often singing in English and Jamaican patois. Albums including Journey to Jah and Confidence established songs such as “Dem Gone” and “Superior” as central parts of his catalog. In 2014 Gentleman recorded an MTV Unplugged concert at Stadtgarten in Cologne, accompanied by an expanded live ensemble. The Evolution served for years as his touring band, supporting performances at major reggae events. He has appeared repeatedly at Summerjam and has also performed at Rototom Sunsplash in Benicàssim.
