About Giorgio Moroder
Giorgio Moroder is an Italian composer, producer and DJ, born in Ortisei in 1940. His electronic disco productions with Donna Summer included “Love to Love You Baby” and “I Feel Love”; his own recordings include “From Here to Eternity” and “Chase.” He also wrote music for films including Midnight Express, Scarface and Flashdance.
In 2013, Moroder played what was billed as his first DJ set at Deep Space in New York. The Celebration of the 80’s Tour followed in 2019 as his first concert tour, placing his disco and soundtrack catalogue in a full-band show with singers at venues including London’s Eventim Apollo.
