Artist
Girls in Airports are a Danish instrumental jazz group formed in 2009. Saxophone-led melodies, keyboards and layered percussion shape music that also draws on ambient and experimental jazz. The group is known for albums including Migration, Kaikoura, Fables and Dive. The 2017 concert album Live documented the group at Jazzhouse. Girls in Airports have performed widely outside Denmark, including concerts in China, Brazil and the United States, while their Danish festival history includes Copenhagen Jazz Festival.
