Herborg Kråkevik in Tromsø

Herborg Kråkevik is a Norwegian singer and actress, born in 1973 and raised in Jondal in Hardanger. Her repertoire draws on folk-rooted song, pop and theatre, and she is known especially for Mi Haugtussa, based on poetry by Arne Garborg, and the collection of Norwegian standards Kråkeviks songbok. Det Norske Teatret has been central to her stage career, including Eg og Edith, her theatrical portrait of Édith Piaf. She also brought her songbook repertoire to concert audiences around Norway, then made Christmas music a recurring part of her live work through the Juleroser concert series.
