About ISIS
ISIS was an American post-metal band formed in Boston in 1997. The group built long compositions from heavy guitar passages, atmospheric repetition and Aaron Turner’s vocals, a sound documented on albums including Oceanic, Panopticon and Wavering Radiant.
In 2006, ISIS opened for Tool on a North American arena tour. After touring in support of Wavering Radiant, the band announced its breakup in 2010; its final performance took place that June at Club Soda in Montreal.
