About Jake Shears
Jake Shears is an American singer, songwriter and performer best known as a co-lead vocalist of the New York pop-rock band Scissor Sisters. The group’s best-known songs include “Take Your Mama,” “Laura” and “I Don’t Feel Like Dancin’.” His solo albums are Jake Shears and Last Man Dancing.
Scissor Sisters played Glastonbury Festival in 2004 and appeared at Live 8 in London’s Hyde Park the following year. Shears later performed solo headline dates after Jake Shears in 2018 and toured Britain behind Last Man Dancing in 2023.
