Artist
Jembaa Groove is a German seven-piece band formed in Berlin by Ghanaian percussionist and singer Eric Owusu and bassist and producer Yannick Nolting. The group plays highlife, jazz and soul, and is known for the albums Susuma and Ye Ankasa. Jembaa Groove have performed at SXSW in Austin and Fusion Festival in Lärz. Their concerts feature Owusu’s voice and percussion, a full rhythm section and horns, and the band has also played clubs in London and New York.
