Joaquín Sabina is a Spanish singer-songwriter, born in Úbeda in 1949, who writes canción de autor shaped by rock and pop. His best-known work includes “Pongamos que hablo de Madrid,” “Y nos dieron las diez,” “Contigo” and “19 días y 500 noches,” as well as the albums Física y química and 19 días y 500 noches.

The 2007 Dos pájaros de un tiro tour paired him with Joan Manuel Serrat for concerts built around both artists’ catalogues. They reunited for La Orquesta del Titanic, touring the songs from their joint album, and Sabina later revisited 19 días y 500 noches on the 500 noches para una crisis tour before taking Lo niego todo on the road.

Spain has been the centre of his concert work, and his Latin American tours have repeatedly included Buenos Aires and Mexico City.
