Johnny Moped in London

Johnny Moped are an English punk band formed in Croydon in 1974 around singer Paul Halford, who performs under the band’s name. Their early work includes the 1978 debut album Cycledelic and songs such as “Incendiary Device” and “Darling, Let’s Have Another Baby.” A 1977 performance at London’s Roxy was documented on the compilation Live at the Roxy London WC2. Decades later, reunited lineups brought those songs back to British clubs and punk festivals, including Rebellion Festival in Blackpool.
