Kate Miller-Heidke is an Australian singer-songwriter and classically trained soprano, born in Brisbane in 1981. Her pop catalogue includes the albums Little Eve and Curiouser, the songs “Caught in the Crowd” and “The Last Day on Earth,” and “Zero Gravity,” which she performed as Australia’s representative at the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest. In 2010, she performed at Coachella and appeared on the Lilith Fair tour. She later took the Heavenly Sounds tour into churches and cathedrals around Australia. Her Eurovision performance in Tel Aviv placed her atop a flexible pole, accompanied by two performers moving on matching poles. Australian tours bring her back to theatre and concert-hall stages in Sydney and Melbourne.
